Who IS Tara of Melchizedek?
A life of general suffering and deep inquiry led me on a 21-year spiritual journey of healing—one that began as a "Spiritual Emergency" and ultimately became a revelation of the mysterious nature of God. I was not even 14 years old when Christianity failed to answer my questions regarding the use of spiritual gifts, church dogma, and scriptural hypocrisy. When I questioned social norms and demanded answers about firsthand revelation and spiritual sight, I found the ministers to be cold and dismissive. Seeking guidance for my spiritual gifts of sight and hearing, I eventually walked away from organized Christianity altogether to seek answers elsewhere.
In college, one of my favorite spiritual texts was the Tao Te Ching. However, my early 20s brought crisis after crisis. After losing everything except my connection to spirit, the combination of trauma and an emergent soul triggered symptoms of what was then a poorly understood Spiritual Emergency, leading to many miserable experiences with mental health care and misdiagnosis.
Eventually, I traveled to Ireland to study the intuitive arts, which led to numerous certifications in various modes of spiritual healing and metaphysics. Yet, the deeper my initiation into Esoterica and the New Age movement became, the more I found myself face-to-face with a "False Light" religion—the great deception of the fallen angels and Satan himself, masquerading as an angel of light.
Ultimately, immersing myself in Torah study and the very scriptures Christ considered to be the Word of God revealed profound mysteries to me. It scoured the "false light" from my mind, allowing me to separate truth from imagination, and the scriptures became my home. While my ego was continually challenged by trying life circumstances, the light of God was so palpable and comforting that I allowed my eye to become single, filling my whole body with light and a heart led entirely by His spiritual authority and wisdom.
Saved by grace through faith and totally transformed by the High Physician himself—Christ Yeshuah, High Priest of Melchizedek—I now write about spiritual truth and salvation from a place of personal knowing. My work challenges not just the dogma of organized religion, but the inconsistencies and deceptions of the New Age as well. Along this journey, I also earned a B.A. in Psychology and a Bachelor of Divinity in Metaphysical Science, which included the study of world religions and diverse spiritual thought.
